I decided to learn Italian 2 years ago after watching The Godfather. I know it may sound silly, but had it not been for those movies, I would never have considered learning a foreign language and would not have been reaping the benefits of it today.

So I made the decision to give this product a try. After all, if I really wanted to learn how to speak Italian, I had to start somewhere. Might as well get the ball rolling right? Well the ball has not stopped moving ever since. I have been practicing the techniques taught in the Rocket Italian learning software for almost 2 years now and I am pleased to share with you the benefits that I have gained from it.
Rocket Italian is a cost effective, practical method to learning Italian which will have you hooked from the very first time you use it. It offers profound lessons on the actual spoken Italian language plus extensive lessons on Italian grammar. Now if you're like me, you will probably skip the grammar lessons and move straight into the spoken portion of the program, especially after you find yourself speaking in full Italian sentences within your first week.
Rocket Italian uses a combination of interactive lessons in both computer software and video, plus audio mp3s which can be downloaded into your Ipod, or burned onto a CD for your car. To this day I still listen to the Italian lessons on my way to work in the morning and in the evenings while I jog or workout at the gym.
The most impressive features of Rocket Italian are the interactive games it comes with. There are 3 in total including: The MegaVerbs game which teaches you the different tenses found in the Italian language, the MegaAudio game which helps you learn 1000 Italian words by matching the picture with the word that is pronounced, and finally the MegaVocab game which is based on learning and memorizing countless of Italian words and even allows you to import your own pictures and words as you move along.
After just 1 week of traning with Rocket Italian, I was able to speak to the owner of a family owned Italian restaurant near my house. Within a year, my wife and I took a trip to Italy and I was able to communicate with all the folks at the restaurants, hotels, and museums. Something I only dreamed of doing came true thanks to the intelligent and professionally crafted methods of study found in this Italian course.
Overall Rocket Italian was a fantastic experience and just perfect enough for a beginner looking to learn how to speak Italian fast.

Those of you who can't get enough Italian lessons, I wanted to review another Italian learning course that I purchased recently to supplement the skills I learned in Rocket Italian. This course was written by David Rivera titled The Surefire Italian Learning course. This ingenious program teaches you a unique method of memorization which will imprint 1000 of the most commonly used Italian words into your brain. This system of learning puts you at an instant advantage of learning how to speak Italian in that you will be able to quickly recognize the words and phrases commonly used in the language.
As usual I was a bit skeptical at first but experts claim that the key to learning a foreign language is to be able to speak and understand the basic words used in everyday conversations which consist of no more than 1000 words.
The Surefire Italian Learning course implements these techniques through the use of repetition and recall structured in some challenging yet fun games. It is definitely worth a try, especially if you want to improve your Italian vocabulary and conversational skills.
